Our Vision

We envision our sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands of the unreached people of Perry County and seeing many of them entering into a relationship with Christ.

We envision developing all of our people through the combined activities of the church to be fully functional followers of Christ who are growing deeper in their relationship with him, serving him with their gifts and talents, and going to share him with others.

We envision a church of community groups where our people model biblical community: a safe place where we accept one another and are accepted, love and are loved, shepherd and are shepherded, encourage and are encouraged, forgive and are forgiven, and serve and are served.

We envision families united in a common goal to grow in their relationship with Christ. We see fathers being spiritual leaders, mothers nurturing, and sons and daughters growing in spiritual maturity as they are undergoing discipleship in the home.

We envision an expanding prayer ministry that reflects our total dependence upon God as we pray for God’s global ministry, the ministry of the church, one another, our community, and our world.

We envision reaching out to the diverse peoples of our community, meeting them where they are, serving them with the love of Christ, and delivering to them the means to fill their greatest need: a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We envision having a global impact as we seek to reach not only our local community but the whole world with the gospel of Christ. In keeping with the Great Commission, we want to be used by God in his global mission by having an active missions ministry which supports and sends out missionaries both long and short term.

We envision a larger facility that will accommodate our growth, providing a larger sanctuary and ample room for Sunday school, community groups, Bible study, prayer, and other meetings. Although bigger is not always better we understand that numerical growth is a by-product of effective evangelism. Therefore, we desire to grow as God prospers us and uses us to reach the lost.
