Mission Weekend 2014

Conway-Perry Baptist Association

Mission Weekend 2014

According to a 2010 Religious Congregations and Membership Study 64% of Perry County residence claim no affiliation to any religious organization whatsoever. And that number does not just include Christian religious organizations. That number means 64% of the people in Perry County are not affiliated with any religious organization, whether it be Christian, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, Buddhism, or even Wicca. This is the second highest percentage in the state of Arkansas. Conway County is not much better. 51% of the population in Conway County shows no affiliation to any religious organization. There is a great need for the churches of the Conway-Perry Baptist Association to pray for God to work in these counties and take active steps to begin to penetrate the lostness that is consuming our friends and our neighbors. This Missions Weekend is only the tip of the iceberg of what needs to be done.
